About FAZDOCS COUNTS-PC FAZDOCS COUNTS-PC Guide FAZDOCS COUNTS-PC Guide was authored by Systems and Software Support Branch, Office of Traffic Operations, Federal Highway Administration. The 64-page document is dated May 1986 and updated July 25, 1986. The COUNTS-PC program is written to run on an IBM-PC system. The Guide basically desribes that the program creates vehicle and pedestrian count data files for each approach to an intersection and stores them. If, necessary, the program can combine individual lane count files into one approach count file. The next step is to process the approach count files so that the program can create an intersection file. The intersection file is then evaluated for the multi-way stop sign warrants and/or traffic signal warrants. Note: A pdf file viewer is required on one's device to access the Documentation. |
