FAZDOCS Mode Choice Analysis Worksheet Documentation describes the Work Trip Mode Choice Estimation Model. The Work Trip Mode Choice Estimation Model is a worksheet-based technique for estimating travel modes for work trips. The model produces estimates of shares for three modes--drive alone, shared ride (carpool), and transit. The model estimates these shares based upon certain attributes of the travel population (household income, auto ownership, etc.) and upon attributes of the travel choices available (travel time, cost, etc.). A complete description of the model and its derivation is included in "Transportation Air Quality Analysis--Sketch Planning Methods," prepared by Cambridge Systematics for the Environmental Protection Agency in 1979. The Documentation is authored by Cambridge Systematics, Inc. The 5-page document is circa mid-1980's. Mode Choice Analysis Worksheet is a Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet.
